¿Photoshop?

Well as you all know I'm trying to learn more and more about this tech stuff, like photoshop and final cut pro but let me tell you, this stuff is hard. You really need to have an eye for things and a whole lot of patience. Well saturday night I was given a small task, to make a background for the new "Wall·E" series for Kids Club. Now it isn't much but it's the first thing I've ever done on photoshop. A lot or all of my success goes to my teacher P. Anthony! (thanks for staying up till 2am finishing this project) well here it is, it isn't much but I'm proud of it :)

Are you Helping or Hurting

Well it's good to have Pastor Nick back! here are some quick points from his sermon:

• Are you HELPING or HURTING yourself?
1. Identify the struggle
2. Identify what fuels the fire
3. Pray for help
4. James 5:16 [CONFESS to one another]
• the first 3 are easy to do but when it comes to the fourth thing on the list we hesitate because we don't like to show others that our lives are messed up.
• We get too comfortable just confessing our problems to God and no one else.
• Confess your sins/struggles with honest people who are not afraid to confront.
• We can't be "sissy-fied" christians when it comes to confrontation, Mark 9:47 tells us how to get rid of sin, it wasn't easy and it wasn't pretty.
• Our final time was left confessing our struggles in our small group, which i found to be very helpful and left feeling with a sense of freedom.

so if there is anyone out there tonight who may feel guilty, ashamed, or out of Gods reach remember what Romans 8:1 says, "Therefore, there is now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"

D.E.S.I.G.N

This Sunday launches our D.E.S.I.G.N series for our Life Groups. D.E.S.I.G.N is an acronym for D-Desire or Passions E-Experiences S-Spiritual Gifts I-Individual styles (personalities) G-Growth N-Natural abilities. This is going to be a series to remember mainly because this will launch our Life Groups here at our church Christian Worship Center Milpitas. Can't wait to start, i have the privelage to tag team the first series with my fellow teammates.

1GXpereience

Well this is my first Blog, but before i start anything i just want to explain what 1GXperience means. It basically stands for 1 God experience. each of us have had an experience with God that has changed our lives, and for those who haven't well let me tell you that God wants to reveal himself to you. Just one experience can change your life forever. One God experience changed an insecure stutterer to a great leader named Moses, One God experience changed a young man and transformed him to great prophet named Jeremiah, One God experience took a persecutor of christians and totally changed him into one of the greatest apostles of all time, Paul. All it took was One God experience to take an ordinary, average, status quo individual and transforms them into who they were created to be.
